Considering it's now been over a month since I posted anything,
I decided, since I had a few free minutes, I would post an update.

Ok, since I am calling this a "horn players blog"
I decided I should post a picture of a horn,
or more specifically "my" horn.

So here is my horn!!!
And here is where I spend most of my evenings,
and if you think I'm kidding just ask my family.
and if you think I'm kidding just ask my family.
And when I'm not practicing horn
this is usually where you'll find me.
Here's a memorable moment that happened in the last month.
I got to meet and get my picture taken with "Coach" Wooden!
What else happened this last month?
Well, other than working a lot of long hours
and starting a new treatment, not much.
July actually went by rather quickly
and now we're a week into August already.
I'll try to use my camera a little bit more this month.
If anything exciting happens I'll post something new.
Until then, thanks for stopping by!

Hey, thanks for the update! It has been a while since you posted, but I know how busy you are. :) Who is "Coach" Wooden, or should I just know it?!?
Rebecca, you're right things have been very busy, and I forgot to even mention that I was studying for school as well!
I guess I wouldn't necessarily expect you to know who "Coach" Wooden is but then he is in his mid-90s, so he is a little before your time (and mine for that matter). He was a legendary college basketball coach, so if you don't follow college basketball at least somewhat you probably wouldn't know who he is. If you're curious you might try googling him. :)
Okay, I don't follow college basketball, or any sport for that matter. How did you meet him?
He was giving a lecture at our church for a basketball camp for Ocean View High School across the street. Unfortunately they didn't have any suitable place for him to speak at the High School so they asked if they could borrow our church sanctuary for the occasion. My dad told me about it and so I took an extra long lunch break that day and stopped by while he was there.
Nice to see a new post. :) It makes checking back here worth it.
cool pictures! :D I don't know how long it's been since you last posted because I'm new on blogger but whatever! I'm glad you posted! :)
