I guess I could start by saying I flew my first solo!
Here is a picture of me standing next to the plane I flew solo in.
And here is a video of me on my first solo landing. (Gotta love it when your instructor surprises you with stuff like this) :)
I also went on a trip to the state of Oregon, and yes, it was my first time ever to that state.
Here are a couple of pictures I took of Mt Hood while I was there:
I also followed up my first solo with my first solo cross-country flight! (Just to clarify, that is a flight of over 50 nm to another airport, and back. I didn't literally fly across the country.) Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures of that but it was an unbelievable experience!
That pretty much sums up the last month and a half or so. Off the top of my head I can't think of anything else exciting that happened. And now I'm sitting here at the OC airport waiting for my flight to Denver then to Albuquerque after a three hour layover. (sigh) Maybe I'll get lucky and my first flight will be delayed. :)
Anyhow, thanks for stopping by! Hope you weren't completely bored out of your mind reading this. If you have any questions for me feel free to post a comment. Or even if you don't have a questions for me feel free to post a comment. :)
(I'm sensing a pattern here...) Have a great day!
