In this day and age where it seems like no one is updating their blog I decided it would be a good idea to set an example and update mine, even though I don't have much to talk about.
So what has happened in the last several months, well, for one thing, I became an uncle again for the sixth time now. My newest niece Carolyn Louise was born to Aaron and Marcia back in November and will actually be five months old tomorrow. Ok I have to admit, if you know anything about me that is really old news.
Today I took what is hopefully my last college exam, I should find out the results from that test and the one I took last Saturday within the next three weeks, and if I did pass both of them that will fulfill my requirements for my bachelor's degree. It'll be nice to finally have college over and done with.
It's now been a little over three months since I got laid off from my job that had me traveling quite a bit, but I did get hooked up with a company this last week that could be giving me some contracting work. We'll see how that all works out.
I'm still working on my flight training and am hoping to have my Private Pilot certificate by sometime in June, depending on how open my schedule is, i.e. whether I'm working or not.
So I guess in a brief summary that's what has been going on with me for the last couple of months. I did also have a chance to go skiing in Colorado in the middle February but other than that it's been a quiet couple of months. Hopefully I'll have something more substantial to post in a couple of months. :)
Oh, and on a side note, it's also a week away from my 29th birthday. Kind of scary just to think about it. I'll soon be entering the last year of my twenties. I now feel like I'm really getting old, though some people still say I'm just a kid when I say that.
